People v. Goree, 26th and California Courthouse
Armed Habitual Criminal, Class X, Chicago Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at Client’s home and recovered a gun and drugs in his bedroom dresser. Following a trial, the Client was found NOT GUILTY. The judge found that the State failed to prove that our client knowingly possessed the items he was charged with.

People v. Montoya, 26th and California Courthouse
Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Class X carrying 5 to 60 years
Motion to Suppress GRANTED and case DISMISSED.
Following a traffic stop, the Chicago Police Department Narcotics Unit searched the client’s utility truck and recovered 1 kilo of narcotics.
After a hearing on a motion to suppress the evidence for lack of probable cause, the judge ruled in the client’s favor. The narcotics were suppressed and the case was DISMISSED.

Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver,
NOT GUILTY
Chicago Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at Client’s home and recovered narcotics in his basement ceiling.
The Judge found our client NOT GUILTY, citing impeachment of the Officers testimony through our Cross Examination.

Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon
Motion to Suppress evidence GRANTED and case DISMISSED.
Client was stopped by Chicago Heights Police and subjected to a pat down search. A gun was recovered on the client. After a hearing on a Motion to Suppress the Evidence for lack of probable cause, the Judge SUPPRESSED the gun and the case was DISMISSED

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, 3rd Timer
Motion to Suppress evidence GRANTED and case DISMISSED
Client was stopped for no valid rear registration light
Open Alcohol and drug paraphernalia were found in the car. The defendant failed field Sobriety tests and blew over the legal limit. After a hearing on a Motion to Suppress the Evidence for lack of probable cause, the Judge Granted the motion and the case was subsequently DISMISSED.
